Knafeh Recipe
Introduction

For the dough:- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup semolina flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, semolina flour, sugar, and salt. Mix well. Add the warm water and vegetable oil, and mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.Step 2: Prepare the Cheese
In another large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sugar, salt, and warm water. Mix well until the cheese is smooth and creamy.Step 3: Assemble the Knafeh
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a 9-inch round baking dish with vegetable oil. Divide the dough into 2 equal parts. Roll out one part of the dough into a thin sheet and place it in the bottom of the baking dish. Spread the cheese mixture on top of the dough. Roll out the second part of the dough into a thin sheet and place it on top of the cheese mixture. Press the edges of the dough to seal them together. Brush the top of the dough with vegetable oil.Step 4: Bake the Knafeh
Bake the knafeh in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until it is golden brown on top. Remove the knafeh from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.Step 5: Prepare the Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and lemon juice. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat to low and let the syrup simmer for 10 minutes.Step 6: Serve the Knafeh
