To make stuffing balls, you will need the following ingredients:- 1 package of stuffing mix
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1/2 cup of chopped celery
- 1/2 cup of chopped onion
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Oil for frying
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 2. In a large bowl, combine the stuffing mix and chicken broth. Set aside. 3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the celery and onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. 4. Add the parsley to the skillet and cook for another minute. 5. Pour the vegetable mixture over the stuffing mix and stir until well combined. 6. Add the beaten eggs to the mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated. 7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a cookie scoop, form the mixture into balls and place them on the baking sheet. 8. Bake the stuffing balls for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside. 9. While the stuffing balls are baking, prepare the coating. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, breadcrumbs, and grated Parmesan cheese. 10. Once the stuffing balls are done baking, let them cool for a few minutes. Then, roll each ball in the coating mixture until they are fully coated. 11. Heat about an inch of oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. 12. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the stuffing balls to the skillet in batches. Fry them until they are crispy and golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. 13. Use a slotted spoon to remove the stuffing balls from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil. 14. Serve the stuffing balls warm with your favorite dipping sauce.Nutrition
