  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep-frying

Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix together the gram flour, rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, baking soda, and salt. 2. Gradually add water to the mixture to form a smooth batter. The batter should be thick enough to coat the vegetables. 3. Add the chopped vegetables to the batter and mix well. 4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium-high heat. 5. Take a spoonful of the batter and drop it into the hot oil. Repeat this process to add more fritters to the oil, but do not overcrowd the pan. 6. Fry the pakoras until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside. 7. Remove the pakoras from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to remove any excess oil. 8. Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
