Instructions
Follow these steps to make authentic chicken korma:- Marinate the chicken in yogurt for at least 2 hours.
- Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add 2 bay leaves and 1 tsp of cumin seeds to the pan and fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the chopped onion to the pan and fry until golden brown.
- Add 2 minced garlic cloves and a grated 1-inch piece of ginger to the pan and fry for 1 minute.
- Add 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, and 1/2 tsp of garam masala to the pan and fry for 1 minute.
- Add the marinated chicken to the pan and fry until browned on all sides.

- Add 1/2 cup of ground almonds to the pan and stir well.
