- 2 tbsp oil

- 2 tbsp cashew nuts (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
- 3 tomatoes (pureed)
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt (to taste)
- Coriander leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
Follow these step-by-step instructions to make shahi paneer:- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add 1 large finely chopped onion. Saute until it turns translucent.
- Add 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste, and 2-3 finely chopped green chilies. Saute for a minute.
- Add 2 tbsp soaked cashew nuts and saute for a minute.
- Add 3 pureed tomatoes and mix well.
- Add 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, and 1 tsp garam masala powder. Mix well and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
- Add 1 tsp kasuri methi and mix well.
- Add 1/2 cup cream and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add 1 tsp sugar and salt to taste. Mix well.
- Add 500g paneer cubes and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or naan.
