Chicken Couscous Recipe

- 1 cup of couscous
- 1 onion, diced

- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
1. Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat and add the chicken breasts. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until they are browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. 2. In the same pan, add the diced onion, minced garlic, and diced red bell pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the vegetables are soft. 3. Add the cumin, paprika, cinnamon, turmeric, and black pepper to the pan. Stir to combine the spices with the vegetables. 4. Add the chicken broth to the pan and bring it to a boil. Once the broth is boiling, reduce the heat to low and add the couscous to the pan. Stir the couscous gently to make sure it is evenly distributed in the broth. Cover the pan and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the couscous is cooked. 5. While the couscous is cooking, shred the cooked chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. 6. Once the couscous is cooked, add the shredded chicken to the pan and stir to combine. Let the chicken and couscous cook together for about 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. 7.
