Here are the ingredients you will need:- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese
- Lettuce and tomato, for garnish
Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, onions, green bell pepper, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the ingredients are evenly distributed. 2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties. 3. Preheat your grill or frying pan to medium-high heat. If using a grill, lightly oil the grates to prevent the patties from sticking. 4. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F. 5. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheese on top of each patty and let it melt. 6. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster. 7. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom bun, followed by lettuce and tomato slices. Add ketchup, mustard, or any other condiments you like. 8.
