- 1 bay leaf

Instructions
Follow these simple steps to make Nando's spicy rice:- Wash the rice in cold water and drain.
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and sauté until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the red and green bell peppers and sauté for another 5 minutes.
- Add the tomato paste, smoked paprika, ground cumin, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and bay leaf. Stir to combine.
