- 1 cup cooked and chopped meat (such as chicken or ham)
- 1 cup cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, chives, and dill)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9-inch (23 cm) cake pan with cooking spray. 2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil, milk, and eggs. 4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. 5. Fold in the cooked vegetables, meat, and cheese. 6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth out the top. 7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. 8. While the cake is baking, prepare the filling. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper. 9. Once the cake is done, let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan. 10. Remove the cake from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack. 11. Once the cake has cooled, cut it in half horizontally. 12. Spread the filling on the bottom half of the cake. 13.
