Korma Curry Recipe

For this recipe, you will need:- 1 pound of chicken, lamb, or vegetables of your choice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. 2. Add onions and cook until they are soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. 3. Add garlic and ginger and cook for another 2 minutes. 4. Add all of the spices and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. 5. Add the chicken, lamb, or vegetables and cook until browned on all sides. 6. Add the yogurt and cream and stir until everything is well combined. 7. Reduce heat to low, cover the skillet, and let everything simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken or lamb is cooked through. 8. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 9.
