- 3 cups of water

- 1 teaspoon of garam masala
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of frozen peas
- A handful of chopped cilantro
Instructions
To make pillau rice, follow these simple steps:- Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear, then drain.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the onion and sauté until it is soft and translucent.
- Add the cumin and coriander seeds, and cook until they start to pop and release their fragrance.
- Add the turmeric, garam masala, and salt, and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
